Deposits and Cancellations
I am always as accommodating as possible to assist my clients, however, due to the high volume and popularity of the treatments offered, I have felt the need to introduce a formal Deposit and Cancellation Policy. I respect that your time is valuable and appreciate that you understand that mine is too. If appointments are cancelled or rescheduled at short notice, or if you do not attend an appointment, this means I am unable to re-use that time for other clients.
I understand that occasionally a short-notice cancellation may be unavoidable and if it is possible to reschedule your appointment, without causing an issue for the business operations, I will try to do so. However, because it is often difficult to re-book an appointment slot within 48 hours, I have taken the decision to institute the following 48-hour cancellation policy.
Deposits
A deposit of 50% of the treatment fee will now be taken when booking. The remainder will be due at your appointment. Deposits should be paid upon booking via card payment, bank transfer, or alternatively I can text/email a link that can allow you to pay remotely using card. Cash deposits are not encouraged at this time due to COVID-19 as we cannot allow customers into the Retreat without an appointment.
Please be aware, your appointment cannot be confirmed until a deposit has been received and your slot will be reserved for 24 hours before being offered to the next customer after that time.
Cancellation Notification
Notification of cancellation is always best given by telephoning or if there are difficulties doing this, then by email. Please leave a voicemail or text message should you be unable to get through to me via telephone. The sooner notification is given the sooner I am able to offer your appointment to another patient and avoid your deposit being retained.
We guarantee that where notification is given with more than 48 hours’ notice (from the start of your appointment time) deposits will be rolled over.
Where late cancellations are notified with less than 48 hours’ notice (from the start of your treatment time) your deposit will be retained or a treatment deducted from prepaid courses.
Where late cancellations are notified with less than 24 hours notice (from the start of your treatment time) including failing to attend without notification, your deposit will be retained and the remainder of the balance will be due prior to booking any further appointments.
To help clients minimise the chance of losing their deposit or treatments from their courses, I endeavour to send out text reminders 48 hours ahead of appointments. Although due to circumstances beyond my control this may not always be possible and clients should therefore not rely on a text reminder.
Appointment Times
Please try to arrive on time for your appointment. I offer a 7 minute grace period for lateness. After this time I reserve the right to cancel your appointment and cancellation fees will apply. Lateness may result in you forfeiting part of your treatment but you will still be charged for the full scheduled service.
Upon booking and confirming your appointment by paying the deposit, you thereby agree to the terms and conditions of this policy.
